Hi, I’m Blas Kolic.

I’m currently a postdoc at uc3m-IBiDat (Madrid), working with Prof. Rosa E. Lillo on incentivized network dynamics and fair AI adoption.

I have a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, where I was part of the Complexity Economics group of the Institute for New Economic Thinking supervised by Prof. Doyne Farmer. I'm also a Physicist from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

My main scientific interests lie in understanding real-world phenomena through the lens of complex systems. This made me explore fields from agent‑based modeling, to network science, to dynamical systems, to latent state inference, to computational social sciences.

Beyond academia, I love music and am strongly in favor of open-source science.
